How to make a mail group in gmail
To create a mail group in Gmail, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the "New Contact" feature
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Contacts" button in the top navigation bar.
- Click on the "New Contact" button.
- Enter the names and email addresses of the people you want to add to the group.
- Click on the "Save" button.
- Go back to the "Contacts" page and find the contact you just created.
- Click on the three vertical dots next to the contact's name and select "Create group".
- Enter a name for the group and click on the "Create" button.
Method 2: Using the "New Group" feature
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Contacts" button in the top navigation bar.
- Click on the "New Group" button.
- Enter a name for the group and click on the "Create" button.
- Add the email addresses of the people you want to add to the group by clicking on the "Add members" button.
- Select the contacts you want to add to the group from the list of contacts.
- Click on the "Save" button.
Method 3: Using the "To" field
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Compose a new email by clicking on the "Compose" button.
- In the "To" field, enter the names of the people you want to add to the group, separated by commas.
- Gmail will suggest the email addresses of the people you are trying to add to the group.
- Select the email addresses from the dropdown list.
- Click on the "Save" button to save the group.
Once you have created a mail group in Gmail, you can use it to send emails to multiple people at once. Simply enter the name of the group in the "To" field when composing a new email, and Gmail will automatically add the email addresses of the group members.
