- In the "Custom footer" window, type "Regards" or "Best regards" (or any other closing you prefer).
- Click "Save" to save your custom footer.
- The next time you compose an email, you'll see your custom footer at the bottom of the compose window.
Method 2: Using the Gmail settings
- Log in to your Gmail account and click on the gear icon in the upper right corner.
- Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Click on the "General" tab.
- Scroll down to the "Signature" section.
- Click on the "Edit" button next to "Signature".
- Type "Regards" or "Best regards" (or any other closing you prefer) in the text box.
- Click "Save Changes" to save your changes.
Now, whenever you compose an email in Gmail, your custom footer will be automatically added at the end of the email.
