How to make email group email in mail pc
To create an email group in Microsoft Outlook on your PC, follow these steps:
Method 1: Create a new contact group
- Open Microsoft Outlook on your PC.
- Click on the "Contacts" button in the navigation pane.
- Click on the "New Contact Group" button in the "Home" tab.
- Enter a name for your group in the "Group name" field.
- Click on the "Add Members" button.
- Enter the email addresses of the people you want to add to the group, one per line.
- Click "OK" to add the members to the group.
- Click "Save & Close" to save the group.
Method 2: Create a new distribution list
- Open Microsoft Outlook on your PC.
- Click on the "File" menu and select "Open & Export" > "Import/Export".
- Select "Export to a file" and choose "Comma Separated Values (Windows)" as the file format.
- Select the contacts you want to add to the group and click "Export".
- Save the file to a location on your computer.
- Open the file in a text editor (such as Notepad) and add the email addresses of the people you want to add to the group, one per line.
- Save the file and close the text editor.
- Go back to Outlook and click on the "Contacts" button in the navigation pane.
- Click on the "New Contact Group" button in the "Home" tab.
- Enter a name for your group in the "Group name" field.
- Click on the "Add Members" button.
- Select "From Outlook Contacts" and then select the file you created in step 6.
- Click "OK" to add the members to the group.
- Click "Save & Close" to save the group.
Method 3: Create a new email group using the "To" field
- Open Microsoft Outlook on your PC.
- Compose a new email by clicking on the "New Email" button in the "Home" tab.
- In the "To" field, enter the email addresses of the people you want to add to the group, separated by semicolons (;).
- Enter a subject line and compose your email as usual.
- Click "Send" to send the email to the group.
Note: When you create an email group using Method 3, the group is not saved as a contact group in Outlook. Instead, the email addresses are stored in the "To" field of the email.
