How to mark important label in gmail for composed mail
In Gmail, you can mark an important label on a composed email by following these steps:
- Compose a new email or reply to an existing one.
- Click on the three vertical dots at the bottom of the compose window.
- Select "Labels" from the dropdown menu.
- Click on the "New label" button.
- Enter a name for the label (e.g., "Important") and press Enter.
- The label will be created and applied to the email.
- To mark the email as important, click on the label you just created (e.g., "Important").
- The label will turn blue, indicating that the email is marked as important.
Alternatively, you can also use keyboard shortcuts to mark an email as important:
- Windows: Ctrl + Shift + I
- Mac: Command + Shift + I
This will apply the "Important" label to the email.
Note: You can also use the "Priority Inbox" feature in Gmail to automatically mark important emails as important. To enable Priority Inbox, go to Settings > Inbox > Priority Inbox.
