How to mark mail as junk

The eternal struggle against spam!

To mark an email as junk or spam, you can follow these steps:

Gmail (Web)

  1. Open your Gmail account and go to the Inbox.
  2. Find the email you want to mark as junk.
  3. Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
  4. Select "Mark as spam" from the dropdown menu.

Gmail (Mobile App)

  1. Open your Gmail app and go to the Inbox.
  2. Find the email you want to mark as junk.
  3. Long-press on the email to open the menu.
  4. Tap "Report spam" from the menu.

Outlook (Web)

  1. Open your Outlook account and go to the Inbox.
  2. Find the email you want to mark as junk.
  3. Click on the "Junk" button at the top of the email.
  4. Select "Mark as Junk" from the dropdown menu.

Outlook (Mobile App)

  1. Open your Outlook app and go to the Inbox.
  2. Find the email you want to mark as junk.
  3. Long-press on the email to open the menu.
  4. Tap "Junk" from the menu.

Yahoo Mail

  1. Open your Yahoo Mail account and go to the Inbox.
  2. Find the email you want to mark as junk.
  3. Click on the "Junk" button at the top of the email.
  4. Select "Mark as Junk" from the dropdown menu.

Other Email Providers

If you're using a different email provider, such as AOL, Hotmail, or ProtonMail, you can usually find the "Mark as spam" or "Report spam" option in the email's menu or by right-clicking on the email.
