How to move certain mails to different labels in gmail

There are a few ways to move certain emails to different labels in Gmail:

Method 1: Using the Gmail search bar

  1. Open Gmail and type a search query in the search bar to find the emails you want to move. You can use keywords, sender names, subject lines, or any other criteria to narrow down the search results.
  2. Click on the "Search" button or press Enter to execute the search.
  3. In the search results page, click on the checkbox next to each email you want to move to a label.
  4. Click on the "Labels" dropdown menu at the top of the page and select "New label" or "Apply new label".
  5. Enter the name of the label you want to move the emails to and click "Create" or "Apply".

Method 2: Using the Gmail label manager

  1. Open Gmail and click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
  2. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click on the "Labels" tab.
  4. Click on the "New label" button to create a new label or select an existing label from the list.
  5. Click on the "Apply label" button next to the label you want to move emails to.
  6. In the "Apply label" window, enter the search query to find the emails you want to move. You can use the same search criteria as in Method 1.
  7. Click "Apply" to move the selected emails to the label.

Method 3: Using keyboard shortcuts

Note: You can also use Gmail's "Batch actions" feature to move multiple emails to a label at once. To do this, select the emails you want to move, click on the "More" menu, and select "Batch actions". Then, select "Apply label" and choose the label you want to move the emails to.
