To move emails under a label in Gmail, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the Gmail Web Interface
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the label you want to move emails from in the left-hand sidebar.
- Check the boxes next to the emails you want to move.
- Click on the "More" menu at the top of the page and select "Move to" or use the keyboard shortcut "m".
- Select the label you want to move the emails to from the dropdown menu.
- Click "Move" to move the selected emails to the new label.
Method 2: Using the Gmail Search Bar
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Type the label name in the search bar followed by a colon and the word "label" (e.g.,
label:mylabel
). - Press Enter to execute the search.
- Check the boxes next to the emails you want to move.
