How to move storage folders in windows live mail
A blast from the past! Windows Live Mail is an older email client, but I'll do my best to help you with your question.
To move a storage folder in Windows Live Mail, you can follow these steps:
- Open Windows Live Mail and go to the "Folder List" view by clicking on the "Folder List" button in the top left corner of the window.
- Find the folder you want to move in the list and right-click on it.
- Select "Move" from the context menu.
- In the "Move Folder" dialog box, select the new location where you want to move the folder. You can choose a folder on your computer, a network location, or a cloud storage service like OneDrive or Google Drive.
- Click "Move" to move the folder to the new location.
Alternatively, you can also use the "Organize" menu to move a folder:
- Open Windows Live Mail and go to the "Folder List" view.
- Find the folder you want to move and right-click on it.
- Select "Organize" from the context menu.
- Select "Move" from the sub-menu.
- Follow the same steps as above to select the new location and move the folder.
Note that if you're moving a folder that contains emails, you'll be prompted to choose whether you want to move the emails to the new location or leave them in their original location.
