How to pin mail in outlook

In Outlook, you can pin important emails to the top of your inbox or to a specific folder to keep them easily accessible. Here's how:

Pin an email to the top of your inbox:

  1. Open the email you want to pin.
  2. Click on the three dots (⋯) at the top right corner of the email.
  3. Select "Pin" from the dropdown menu.
  4. The email will now be pinned to the top of your inbox, and you'll see a pin icon () next to the email subject.

Pin an email to a specific folder:

  1. Open the folder where you want to pin the email.
  2. Open the email you want to pin.
  3. Click on the three dots (⋯) at the top right corner of the email.
  4. Select "Pin" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Choose the folder where you want to pin the email from the dropdown list.
  6. The email will now be pinned to the top of the selected folder, and you'll see a pin icon () next to the email subject.

Unpin an email:

  1. Open the email that you want to unpin.
  2. Click on the three dots (⋯) at the top right corner of the email.
  3. Select "Unpin" from the dropdown menu.
  4. The email will no longer be pinned to the top of your inbox or folder.

Note: When you pin an email, it will remain pinned until you unpin it or until you close and reopen Outlook.
