How to read aloud mail android
There are a few ways to read aloud mail on an Android device:
- Google Assistant: If you have a Google Assistant-enabled device, you can use the "Read aloud" feature to have your emails read to you. To do this:
- Open the Google Assistant app or say "Ok Google" to activate it.
- Say "Read my emails" or "Read aloud my emails".
- The assistant will then read out your emails, including the subject, sender, and content.
- Android's built-in Text-to-Speech (TTS) feature: Android has a built-in TTS feature that can read out text, including emails. To use this feature:
- Go to Settings > Accessibility > Text-to-speech output.
- Select a TTS engine (e.g., Google Text-to-Speech or Samsung Text-to-Speech).
- Go to your email app (e.g., Gmail, Outlook) and open an email.
- Long-press on the email text to select it, then tap the "Speak" or "Read aloud" button (this button may vary depending on your email app).
- Third-party apps: There are several third-party apps available that can read aloud your emails, such as:
- TalkBack: A screen reader app that can read out text, including emails. (Free, with in-app purchases)
- Voice Reader: An app that can read out text, including emails, with customizable voices and languages. (Paid)
- Email Reader: An app that can read out your emails, with options to customize the reading speed and voice. (Free, with in-app purchases)
To use a third-party app, simply download and install it from the Google Play Store, then follow the app's instructions to set it up and start reading your emails aloud.
Note: Some email apps may have their own built-in reading aloud features, so be sure to check your email app's settings or menu for options like "Read aloud" or "Speak".
