How to recall a mail from gmail

To recall an email from Gmail, you can use the "Undo Send" feature, which allows you to retract an email within a certain time frame after sending it. Here's how:

Method 1: Using the "Undo Send" feature

  1. Go to your Gmail account and click on the gear icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Scroll down to the "General" tab and look for the "Undo Send" section.
  4. Enable the "Enable Undo Send" toggle switch.
  5. Set the "Undo Send" time frame to your desired duration (5, 10, 15, or 30 seconds).
  6. Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.

Now, when you send an email, you'll have the option to recall it within the set time frame. Here's how:

  1. After sending an email, click on the "Undo" button that appears at the top of the page.
  2. Confirm that you want to recall the email by clicking "Undo" again.

Method 2: Using the "Unsend" feature (only available for some accounts)

  1. Go to your Gmail account and click on the three vertical dots next to the "Send" button.
  2. Select "Unsend" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Confirm that you want to recall the email by clicking "Unsend" again.

Note: The "Unsend" feature is only available for accounts that have the "Undo Send" feature enabled and have a Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) subscription.
