How to refresh mail in iphone

There are a few ways to refresh your email on an iPhone:

  1. Pull down to refresh: Swipe down from the top of the screen to refresh your email inbox. This method works in the Mail app, as well as in many third-party email apps.
  2. Tap the "Refresh" button: In the Mail app, tap the "Refresh" button (represented by a circular arrow) in the top-right corner of the screen. This button is only visible when you're in the inbox or a specific email folder.
  3. Swipe left and tap "Refresh": In some email apps, you can swipe left on an email and tap the "Refresh" button that appears.
  4. Check for new mail: Go to the Mail app's settings by tapping the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear) in the top-left corner of the screen. Scroll down and tap "Mail", then toggle on "Fetch New Data" to check for new mail.
  5. Force quit and reopen the Mail app: If the above methods don't work, try force quitting the Mail app and reopening it. To force quit an app, double-press the Home button (or swipe up from the bottom of the screen on iPhone X and later) and swipe up on the Mail app's preview to close it. Then, reopen the Mail app from the Home screen.
  6. Check your internet connection: Make sure your iPhone has a stable internet connection. If your connection is slow or unreliable, it may take longer for new mail to arrive.
  7. Check your email account settings: Ensure that your email account settings are correct and up-to-date. Go to the Mail app's settings, tap "Accounts", and check that your account information is accurate.

If you're still having trouble refreshing your email, try restarting your iPhone or contacting your email provider's support team for assistance.
