How to remove an account from apple mail

To remove an account from Apple Mail on your Mac or iOS device, follow these steps:

On a Mac:

  1. Open Apple Mail.
  2. Click on "Mail" in the top menu bar and select "Preferences" (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + comma).
  3. Click on the "Accounts" tab.
  4. Select the account you want to remove from the list of accounts on the left side of the window.
  5. Click the "minus sign" (-) button at the bottom of the window to remove the account.
  6. Click "Remove" to confirm.

On an iOS device:

  1. Open the Settings app.
