How to remove mail id displying in gmail login chrome

By default, Gmail displays your email address in the login form when you sign in to your account in Chrome. If you want to remove your email address from displaying in the login form, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using Chrome Flags

  1. Type chrome://flags in the address bar and press Enter.
  2. Search for " Omnibox" in the search bar.
  3. Find the "Omnibox UI with high contrast" flag and toggle the switch to "Enabled".
  4. Restart Chrome.

This method will remove your email address from displaying in the login form, but it may also affect other Omnibox features.

Method 2: Using Chrome Extensions

  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for "Remove Email from Omnibox".
  2. Install the extension "Remove Email from Omnibox" or a similar extension.
  3. Once installed, click on the extension icon in the top right corner of the browser and toggle the switch to "Enabled".

This method will remove your email address from displaying in the login form, and it's a more targeted solution compared to the Chrome Flags method.

Method 3: Using Chrome Settings

  1. Click on the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the browser and select "Settings".
  2. Scroll down to the "Advanced" section and click on "Content settings".
  3. Under "Content settings", click on "Cookies and other site data".
  4. Under "Cookies and other site data", toggle the switch to "Block sites from setting any data" or "Block third-party cookies and site data".

This method will block all cookies and site data, including your email address, from displaying in the login form. However, it may also affect other website functionality.

Note: These methods may not work if you're using a custom Gmail login page or a third-party app that requires your email address to sign in.
