How to remove mail id from gmail app

To remove a Gmail account from the Gmail app on your Android device or iOS device, follow these steps:

Android Devices:

  1. Open the Gmail app on your Android device.
  2. Tap the three horizontal lines (menu icon) on the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Tap on "Settings" (gear icon).
  4. Scroll down to the "Accounts" section.
  5. Tap on the account you want to remove.
  6. Tap on "Remove account" or "Remove" (depending on the device and Android version).
  7. Confirm that you want to remove the account by tapping "OK" or "Remove account".

iOS Devices:

  1. Open the Gmail app on your iOS device.
  2. Tap on the "Settings" icon (gear icon) in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Scroll down to the "Accounts" section.
  4. Tap on the account you want to remove.
  5. Tap on "Delete Account" or "Remove" (depending on the device and iOS version).
