If you've deleted an email within a short period (usually 30 seconds), you can use Gmail's "Undo Send" feature to retrieve it.
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon at the top right corner of the page.
- Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "General" tab.
- Look for the "Undo Send" setting and toggle it on.
- Once enabled, you'll have a short window (usually 30 seconds) to undo the send action.
- If you've deleted an email during this window, you can click on the "Undo" button to retrieve it.
Important notes:
- Emails deleted from the Trash folder are permanently deleted and cannot be retrieved.
- If you've deleted an email from your inbox, it will be moved to the Trash folder. You can retrieve it from there using the methods above.
- Gmail's "Undo Send" feature only works for emails sent from the Gmail web interface. If you've sent an email from a third-party app or client, you won't be able to retrieve it using this method.
