How to retrieve junk mail deleted from hotmail

The frustration of accidentally deleting important emails, including junk mail, from your Hotmail account!

Unfortunately, once you delete an email from your Hotmail account, it's typically gone for good. Hotmail's email system doesn't have a built-in feature to recover deleted emails. However, there are a few things you can try to potentially recover your deleted junk mail:

  1. Check your Trash folder: Sometimes, deleted emails are moved to the Trash folder instead of being permanently deleted. Log in to your Hotmail account, go to the Trash folder, and see if your deleted junk mail is still there.
  2. Use the "Undo Send" feature: If you acted quickly after deleting the email, you might be able to use the "Undo Send" feature. This feature allows you to retract an email within a short period (usually 30 seconds) after sending or deleting it. To use this feature, go to the "More" menu, click on "Undo Send," and select the email you want to recover.
  3. Contact Hotmail support: Reach out to Hotmail's customer support team and explain the situation. They might be able to help you recover your deleted email, but this is not guaranteed. You can contact Hotmail support through their website or by calling their phone number.
  4. Use a third-party email recovery tool: There are several third-party email recovery tools available that claim to be able to recover deleted emails from Hotmail. Some popular options include:
    • Email Recovery Tool (ERT)
    • Email Recovery Software (ERS)
    • Recover My Email (RME)

Please note that these tools are not officially supported by Hotmail, and their effectiveness is not guaranteed. Additionally, some of these tools may require you to provide your Hotmail login credentials, which can be a security risk.

  1. Recreate the email: If all else fails, you can try recreating the email from memory or by contacting the sender to request a copy of the original email.

Remember to always be cautious when deleting emails, and consider using the "Move to Junk" feature instead of deleting them to avoid accidental deletion.
