How to reverse mail in gmail due to archive

The pesky "Archive" button in Gmail!

When you archive an email in Gmail, it moves the message out of your inbox and into the "All Mail" label, but it doesn't actually delete the email. If you want to reverse the effect of archiving an email and move it back to your inbox, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the "Undo" feature

  1. Go to your Gmail account and click on the "Undo" button at the top of the page. This button is only available for a short period of time after you've taken an action, so you need to act quickly!
  2. Click on the "Undo" button to revert the action. This will move the archived email back to your inbox.

Method 2: Using the "Move to Inbox" feature

  1. Go to your Gmail account and click on the "All Mail" label.
  2. Find the archived email you want to move back to your inbox and click on it.
