How to save mail as draft in gmail

To save an email as a draft in Gmail, you can follow these steps:

  1. Compose a new email by clicking on the "Compose" button in the top left corner of the Gmail window.
  2. Write your email and add any attachments, recipients, and other details as needed.
  3. Before sending the email, click on the "Drafts" button in the bottom left corner of the compose window. This will save the email as a draft.
  4. You can also use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + D" (Windows) or "Command + Shift + D" (Mac) to save the email as a draft.
  5. Once you've saved the email as a draft, you can come back to it later by clicking on the "Drafts" tab in the left sidebar of the Gmail window.
  6. From the Drafts tab, you can edit, delete, or send the draft email as needed.

Alternatively, you can also use the "Save Draft" button at the bottom of the compose window to save the email as a draft. This button is only available when you're composing a new email and haven't sent it yet.

Note that when you save an email as a draft, it will be stored in your Gmail account and can be accessed from any device where you have access to your account.
