How to schedule a mail delivery in outlook

Outlook allows you to schedule a mail delivery, also known as "Delay Delivery" or "Send Later", which enables you to send an email at a later time or date. Here's how to do it:

Method 1: Using the "Delay Delivery" option

  1. Compose a new email as you normally would.
  2. Click on the "Options" button in the "Tags" group of the "Home" tab.
  3. Click on "Delay Delivery" from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the "Delay Delivery" dialog box, select the date and time you want the email to be sent.
  5. Click "OK" to save your changes.

Method 2: Using the "Send Later" option

  1. Compose a new email as you normally would.
  2. Click on the "Send" button in the "Tags" group of the "Home" tab.
  3. In the "Send" dialog box, click on the "Send Later" button.
  4. In the "Send Later" dialog box, select the date and time you want the email to be sent.
  5. Click "OK" to save your changes.

Method 3: Using the "Quick Steps" feature

  1. Compose a new email as you normally would.
  2. Click on the "Quick Steps" button in the "Home" tab.
  3. Click on "Create New Quick Step" and then select "Delay Delivery".
  4. In the "Delay Delivery" dialog box, select the date and time you want the email to be sent.
  5. Click "OK" to save your changes.

Note: When you schedule a mail delivery, the email will be stored in your Outbox until the specified delivery time. If you close Outlook or your computer shuts down, the email will be sent as soon as you reopen Outlook or restart your computer.
