How to schedule mail in outlook 2013
Scheduling mail in Outlook 2013 allows you to send an email at a later time or date. Here's how to do it:
Method 1: Using the "Delay Delivery" feature
- Compose a new email or open an existing one.
- Click on the "Options" button in the "Tags" group on the "Message" tab.
- Click on "Delay Delivery" in the "More Options" section.
- In the "Delay Delivery" dialog box, select the date and time you want the email to be sent.
- Click "OK" to save the changes.
Method 2: Using the "Send Later" feature
- Compose a new email or open an existing one.
- Click on the "Send" button in the "Tags" group on the "Message" tab.
- Instead of clicking "Send" immediately, click on the "Send Later" button that appears.
- In the "Send Later" dialog box, select the date and time you want the email to be sent.
- Click "OK" to save the changes.
Method 3: Using the "Rules" feature
- Go to the "Home" tab in the "Mail" section.
- Click on "Rules" in the "Move" group.
- Click on "Manage Rules & Alerts" in the "Rules" dialog box.
- Click on "New Rule" and select "Start from a blank rule".
- Choose "Move messages from someone to a folder" and click "Next".
- In the "Step 1" section, select "Delay delivery by a number of minutes" and specify the delay time.
- Click "Next" and then "Finish" to save the rule.
In all cases, the email will be sent at the scheduled time or date. Note that if you're using Method 1 or Method 2, you'll need to make sure that your Outlook account is set up to allow delayed sending. You can check this by going to "File" > "Options" > "Advanced" and ensuring that the "Delay delivery" option is enabled.
