How to search mail in android outlook
To search for emails in the Outlook app on your Android device, follow these steps:
- Open the Outlook app on your Android device.
- Tap on the "Inbox" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on the "Search" icon (magnifying glass) at the top right corner of the screen.
- Type in the search query you want to use to find the email. You can search by:
- Keyword: Type a word or phrase to search for emails containing that text.
- Sender: Type the name or email address of the sender to find emails from that person.
- Subject: Type the subject line of the email to find emails with that subject.
- Date: Type a date range to find emails sent or received within that time period.
- Tap the "Search" button to start the search.
- The search results will be displayed below the search bar. You can scroll through the results to find the email you're looking for.
- To refine your search, you can tap on the "Filter" button (three horizontal lines) at the top right corner of the screen and select additional criteria, such as "From", "To", "CC", "BCC", or "Has attachment".
Some additional tips:
- You can also use the "Search" function by swiping down from the top of the screen and typing in the search bar that appears.
- If you want to search for emails in a specific folder, such as "Sent Items" or "Deleted Items", you can tap on the folder name at the top of the screen and then tap on the "Search" icon.
- You can also use the "Quick Search" feature by long-pressing on an email in your inbox and then selecting "Quick Search" from the context menu. This will allow you to search for emails with a specific sender, subject, or keyword.
