How to see mail in archives
To view archived emails in various email clients and services, follow these steps:
Gmail
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab.
- Click on the "More" menu (three vertical dots) at the top right corner of the screen.
- Select "All Mail" from the dropdown menu.
- In the search bar, type "is:archived" and press Enter.
- This will show you all archived emails in your Gmail account.
Outlook
- Log in to your Outlook account.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab.
- Click on the "View" tab in the top menu bar.
- Select "Show" > "Archived" from the dropdown menu.
- This will show you all archived emails in your Outlook account.
Yahoo Mail
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab.
- Click on the "More" menu (three vertical dots) at the top right corner of the screen.
- Select "Archived" from the dropdown menu.
- This will show you all archived emails in your Yahoo Mail account.
ProtonMail
- Log in to your ProtonMail account.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab.

- Select "Archived" from the dropdown menu.
- This will show you all archived emails in your ProtonMail account.
Thunderbird
- Open Thunderbird and log in to your email account.
- Click on the "Inbox" folder in the left sidebar.
- Right-click on the "Inbox" folder and select "Show All Messages" from the context menu.
- In the search bar, type "flagged:yes" and press Enter.
- This will show you all archived emails in your Thunderbird account.
IMAP clients
If you're using an IMAP client like Apple Mail or Mozilla Thunderbird, you can follow these steps:
- Log in to your email account using the IMAP client.
- Click on the "Inbox" folder in the left sidebar.
- Right-click on the "Inbox" folder and select "Show All Messages" from the context menu.
- In the search bar, type "flagged:yes" and press Enter.
- This will show you all archived emails in your email account.
