How to send large file on yahoo mail
Yahoo Mail has a file size limit of 25MB for attachments. If you need to send a larger file, you can use one of the following methods:
- Use a file sharing service: You can upload your large file to a file sharing service like Dropbox, Google Drive, or WeTransfer, and then share the link with the recipient. This way, you can send files up to 2GB or more.
- Use Yahoo Mail's attachment compression: Yahoo Mail allows you to compress your attachments to reduce their size. To do this, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Compose a new email.
- Click on the paperclip icon to attach a file.
- Select the file you want to attach.
- Click on the "Compress" button.
- Choose the compression level (Low, Medium, or High).
- Click "Attach" to attach the compressed file.
- Use a third-party email client: You can use a third-party email client like Mozilla Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook, which allow you to send larger files by breaking them down into smaller chunks.
- Use Yahoo Mail's large file sending feature: Yahoo Mail offers a feature called "Large File Sending" that allows you to send files up to 2GB. To use this feature, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Compose a new email.
- Click on the paperclip icon to attach a file.
- Select the file you want to attach.
- Click on the "Large File Sending" button.
- Fill out the required information, including the recipient's email address and a brief description of the file.
- Click "Send" to send the file.
Note that the Large File Sending feature is only available for Yahoo Mail Premium users. If you're a standard Yahoo Mail user, you'll need to use one of the other methods mentioned above.
