How to send mail from gmail app
To send an email from the Gmail app on your mobile device, follow these steps:
For Android devices:
- Open the Gmail app on your Android device.
- Tap the "Compose" button (looks like a pencil) in the top right corner of the screen.
- Enter the recipient's email address in the "To" field.
- Enter a subject for your email in the "Subject" field.
- Type your message in the main body of the email.

For iOS devices:

- You can also send emails from the Gmail app by long-pressing on an email address in your inbox and selecting "Compose" from the menu.
- You can use the "Quick compose" feature by swiping left on an email address in your inbox and selecting "Compose" from the menu.
- You can also use the "Smart Reply" feature by swiping left on an email in your inbox and selecting a suggested response.
