How to set auto reply in yahoo mail
To set an auto-reply in Yahoo Mail, follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the "Vacation Response" feature
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner of the page.
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Click on the "More Settings" tab.
- Scroll down to the "Vacation Response" section.
- Check the box next to "Enable vacation response".
- Enter the subject and message you want to send as an auto-reply.
- Choose the start and end dates for the auto-reply.
- Click "Save" to save your changes.
Method 2: Using the "Filters" feature
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner of the page.
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Click on the "Filters" tab.
- Click on the "New Filter" button.
- Enter a name for the filter (e.g. "Auto-Reply").
- Set the filter criteria to "From" and select "Any sender".
- Set the filter action to "Reply with a message".
- Enter the subject and message you want to send as an auto-reply.
- Choose the start and end dates for the auto-reply.
- Click "Save" to save your changes.
Note: The "Vacation Response" feature is only available for Yahoo Mail accounts with a paid subscription (Yahoo Mail Pro or Yahoo Mail Premium). If you have a free Yahoo Mail account, you can only use the "Filters" feature to set an auto-reply.
Also, keep in mind that auto-replies may not work for all emails, such as those sent from certain email providers or those that are flagged as spam.
