How to set signature in thunderbird mail
To set a signature in Thunderbird, follow these steps:
- Open Thunderbird and go to the "Composition" menu.
- Select "Edit S/MIME Options" from the drop-down menu.
- In the "S/MIME Options" window, click on the "Signature" tab.
- In the "Signature" tab, you can choose to use a plain text signature, an HTML signature, or a digital signature.
- To use a plain text signature, enter your signature text in the "Signature" field.
- To use an HTML signature, click on the "Edit" button next to the "Signature" field and enter your HTML code in the "HTML Editor" window.
- To use a digital signature, click on the "Edit" button next to the "Signature" field and select the digital signature you want to use from the "Digital Signature" dropdown menu.
- Click "OK" to save your changes.
Alternatively, you can also set a signature by going to the "Account Settings" window and following these steps:
- Open Thunderbird and go to the "Account Settings" window.
- Select your email account from the list of accounts on the left side of the window.
- Click on the "Composition" tab.
- In the "Composition" tab, click on the "Edit" button next to the "Signature" field.
- Enter your signature text in the "Signature" field.
- Click "OK" to save your changes.
That's it! Your signature should now be set and will be added to the bottom of your emails.
