How to set time for mail in outlook

In Outlook, you can set a reminder for a specific time to send an email. This feature is called "Delay Delivery" or "Send Later". Here's how to do it:

Method 1: Using the "Delay Delivery" feature

  1. Compose your email as usual.
  2. Click on the "Options" button in the "Tags" group of the ribbon.
  3. Click on "Delay Delivery" in the "More Options" dropdown menu.
  4. Select the desired time from the dropdown menu or enter a custom time in the format "HH:MM" (e.g., "2:00 PM").
  5. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Method 2: Using the "Send Later" feature (Outlook 2013 and later)

  1. Compose your email as usual.
  2. Click on the "Send" button in the "Tags" group of the ribbon.
  3. Click on "Send Later" in the dropdown menu.
  4. Select the desired time from the dropdown menu or enter a custom time in the format "HH:MM" (e.g., "2:00 PM").
  5. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Method 3: Using the "Rules" feature

  1. Go to the "File" menu and select "Manage Rules & Alerts".
  2. Click on "New Rule" and select "Start from a blank rule".
  3. Choose "Move messages from someone to a folder" and click "Next".
  4. Enter the email address of the recipient and select the folder where you want to send the email.
  5. Click "Next" and then "Finish".
  6. In the "Rules and Alerts" window, click on the "Edit Rule" button next to the rule you just created.
  7. In the "Edit Rule" window, click on the "Conditions" tab and select "Delay delivery by a number of minutes".
  8. Enter the desired time in the format "HH:MM" (e.g., "2:00 PM").
  9. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Note: The "Delay Delivery" and "Send Later" features are only available for emails that are sent to recipients within your organization. If you want to send an email to an external recipient, you'll need to use the "Rules" feature.
