How to sign out from thunderbird mail

To sign out of Thunderbird mail, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Sign out from the Account Settings

  1. Open Thunderbird and go to the "Account Settings" window by clicking on "Tools" > "Account Settings" or pressing Ctrl + Shift + A (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + Shift + A (Mac).
  2. Select the account you want to sign out of from the list of accounts on the left side of the window.
  3. Click on the "Edit" button next to the account name.
  4. Scroll down to the "Server Settings" section and click on the "Sign out" button.

Method 2: Sign out from the Account Menu

  1. Open Thunderbird and go to the "Account" menu by clicking on the "Account" button in the top-right corner of the window.
  2. Select "Sign out" from the dropdown menu.

Method 3: Sign out from the Account Context Menu

  1. Open Thunderbird and right-click on the account icon in the top-right corner of the window.
  2. Select "Sign out" from the context menu.

Note: If you have multiple accounts set up in Thunderbird, you will need to sign out of each account separately.

After signing out, you will be prompted to confirm that you want to sign out. Click "OK" to confirm and you will be signed out of the account.

It's worth noting that signing out of Thunderbird does not necessarily mean that you are signed out of the email server. If you want to ensure that you are fully signed out of the email server, you may need to sign out of the server separately, depending on the email provider and server settings.
