How to stop aarp mailings
The never-ending stream of mail from AARP! Don't worry, I'm here to help you stop those unwanted mailings. Here are the steps to opt out of AARP mailings:
Method 1: Online Opt-Out
- Visit AARP's website at www.aarp.org.
- Click on "Contact Us" at the top right corner of the page.
- Scroll down to "Opt Out of Mailings" and click on it.
- Fill out the online form with your name, address, and email address.
- Check the box to confirm you want to opt out of mailings.
- Click "Submit" to complete the process.
Method 2: Phone Opt-Out
- Call AARP's Member Services at 1-888-OUR-AARP (1-888-687-2277).
- Tell the representative you want to opt out of mailings.
- Provide your name, address, and email address to confirm your identity.
- The representative will process your request and confirm your opt-out.
Method 3: Mail Opt-Out
- Write a letter to AARP's Opt-Out Department at the following address: AARP Opt-Out Department 601 E Street NW Washington, DC 20049-0001
- Include your name, address, and email address in the letter.
- Clearly state that you want to opt out of all mailings from AARP.
- Sign the letter and date it.
- Mail the letter to the above address.
