Local Post Office
- Visit your local post office and speak with a postal worker.
- Inform them that you'd like to hold your mail for a week.
- Provide your mailing address and the dates you'd like to hold your mail.
- They will assist you with the process and provide a confirmation number.
Note: If you're holding your mail for an extended period, you may need to provide a forwarding address or make arrangements for mail pickup.
Other Options
- If you're a business owner, you can also use the USPS "Hold Mail" service for your business mail.
- If you're a military personnel or a student, you may be eligible for a temporary mail hold through the USPS "Military Mail Hold" or "Student Mail Hold" programs.
Remember to set up a mail hold at least 3 business days before your desired start date to ensure your mail is held.
