How to turn off icloud mail

To turn off iCloud Mail, you'll need to disable the iCloud Mail account on your device and set up a different email account as your default email account. Here's how to do it:

On an iPhone or iPad:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap on [your name] > iCloud.
  3. Tap on iCloud Mail.
  4. Toggle off the switch next to iCloud Mail.
  5. You'll be prompted to confirm that you want to disable iCloud Mail. Tap Disable.
  6. Go back to the Settings app and tap on Mail.
  7. Tap on Accounts.
  8. Find your iCloud Mail account and tap on it.
  9. Tap on Delete Account.
  10. Confirm that you want to delete the account by tapping Delete.

On a Mac:

  1. Go to System Preferences.
  2. Click on iCloud.
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password if prompted.
  4. Click on Mail.
  5. Uncheck the box next to Enable Mail.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Go to Mail app.
  8. Click on Mail menu and select Preferences.
  9. Click on Accounts.
  10. Select your iCloud Mail account and click on Edit.
  11. Click on - (minus sign) to remove the account.
  12. Confirm that you want to remove the account by clicking Remove.

Note: Disabling iCloud Mail will not delete your iCloud Mail account or its associated data. You can still access your iCloud Mail account through the iCloud website or by re-enabling it on your device.

If you want to completely delete your iCloud Mail account, you can do so by following these steps:

On an iPhone or iPad:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap on [your name] > iCloud.
  3. Tap on iCloud Mail.
  4. Tap on Delete Account.
  5. Confirm that you want to delete the account by tapping Delete.

On a Mac:
