How to turn on automatic replies on mac mail

To turn on automatic replies in Mac Mail, follow these steps:

  1. Open Mac Mail and select the account you want to set up automatic replies for.
  2. Click on "Mail" in the top menu bar and select "Preferences".
  3. In the Preferences window, click on the "Accounts" tab.
  4. Select the account you want to set up automatic replies for from the list of accounts on the left.
  5. Click on the "Advanced" tab.
  6. Scroll down to the "Automatic Reply" section.
  7. Check the box next to "Enable Automatic Reply".
  8. Enter the message you want to send as an automatic reply in the "Automatic Reply" field.
  9. You can also set a start and end date for the automatic replies, as well as specify the time of day you want the replies to be sent.
  10. Click "OK" to save your changes.

Alternatively, you can also set up automatic replies for a specific period of time, such as when you're on vacation. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open Mac Mail and select the account you want to set up automatic replies for.
  2. Click on "Mail" in the top menu bar and select "Preferences".
  3. In the Preferences window, click on the "Accounts" tab.
  4. Select the account you want to set up automatic replies for from the list of accounts on the left.
  5. Click on the "Automatic Reply" tab.
  6. Check the box next to "Enable Automatic Reply".
  7. Enter the message you want to send as an automatic reply in the "Automatic Reply" field.
  8. Set the start and end dates for the automatic replies using the calendar picker.

Note: Automatic replies will only be sent to people who send you an email, and will not be sent to people who try to contact you through other means, such as phone or text message.
