How to unarchive gmail messages
To unarchive Gmail messages, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the Gmail Web Interface
- Log in to your Gmail account on the web.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab to view your inbox.
- Click on the "More" menu at the top of the page and select "All Mail" from the dropdown menu.
- This will show you all your emails, including archived ones.
- Click on the email you want to unarchive.
- Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
- Select "Unarchive" from the dropdown menu.
Method 2: Using the Gmail Mobile App
- Open the Gmail app on your mobile device.
- Tap on the "Inbox" tab to view your inbox.
- Tap on the "Menu" icon (three horizontal lines) at the top left corner of the screen.
- Tap on "All Mail" from the dropdown menu.
- Find the email you want to unarchive and swipe it to the left.
- Tap on the "Unarchive" button that appears.
Method 3: Using Gmail's Search Function
- Log in to your Gmail account on the web.
- Click on the search bar at the top of the page.
- Type "in:all -in:inbox" in the search bar and press Enter.
- This will show you all your archived emails.
- Find the email you want to unarchive and click on it.
- Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
- Select "Unarchive" from the dropdown menu.
Note: When you unarchive an email, it will move back to your inbox and will be marked as unread.
