Huxley and cox webmail

A blast from the past!

Huxley and Cox Webmail was a popular web-based email service in the UK, particularly in the 1990s and early 2000s. It was founded in 1995 by David Huxley and Chris Cox, and it quickly gained popularity as a free email service with a simple and user-friendly interface.

At its peak, Huxley and Cox Webmail had over 1 million registered users, making it one of the largest free email services in the UK. The service offered a range of features, including email storage, address book, and basic spam filtering.

However, in 2004, the company was acquired by the UK-based internet service provider, Demon Internet. Demon Internet subsequently merged Huxley and Cox Webmail with its own email service, and the Huxley and Cox brand was eventually phased out.

Although Huxley and Cox Webmail is no longer available as a standalone service, many people still remember it fondly as a reliable and user-friendly email service from the early days of the internet.
