To set up an IMAP account for Gmail in Outlook, you'll need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Enable IMAP in your Gmail account

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "See all settings."
  3. Go to the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
  4. Select the "Enable IMAP" radio button.
  5. Click "Save Changes."
