Inbox gmail delete messages

To delete messages from your Gmail inbox, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Delete individual messages

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "Inbox" tab to view your messages.
  3. Check the box next to the message(s) you want to delete.
  4. Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
  5. Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
  6. Confirm that you want to delete the selected messages by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.

Method 2: Delete multiple messages at once

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "Inbox" tab to view your messages.
  3. Check the box next to the first message you want to delete.
  4. Hold down the Shift key and click on the last message you want to delete.
  5. This will select all messages between the two messages you clicked.
  6. Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
  7. Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
  8. Confirm that you want to delete the selected messages by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.

Method 3: Use the "Select all" feature

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "Inbox" tab to view your messages.
  3. Click on the "Select all" checkbox at the top of the page.
  4. This will select all messages in your inbox.
  5. Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
  6. Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
  7. Confirm that you want to delete all messages by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.

Method 4: Use keyboard shortcuts

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "Inbox" tab to view your messages.
  3. Press the "c" key to select all messages in your inbox.
  4. Press the "d" key to delete the selected messages.
  5. Confirm that you want to delete all messages by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.

Note: When you delete a message, it will be moved to the "Trash" folder. If you want to permanently delete the message, you'll need to empty the "Trash" folder.
