Inbox gmail delete messages
To delete messages from your Gmail inbox, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Delete individual messages
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab to view your messages.
- Check the box next to the message(s) you want to delete.
- Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
- Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm that you want to delete the selected messages by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.
Method 2: Delete multiple messages at once
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab to view your messages.
- Check the box next to the first message you want to delete.
- Hold down the Shift key and click on the last message you want to delete.
- This will select all messages between the two messages you clicked.
- Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
- Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm that you want to delete the selected messages by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.
Method 3: Use the "Select all" feature
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab to view your messages.
- Click on the "Select all" checkbox at the top of the page.
- This will select all messages in your inbox.
- Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
- Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm that you want to delete all messages by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.
Method 4: Use keyboard shortcuts
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab to view your messages.
- Press the "c" key to select all messages in your inbox.
- Press the "d" key to delete the selected messages.
- Confirm that you want to delete all messages by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.
Note: When you delete a message, it will be moved to the "Trash" folder. If you want to permanently delete the message, you'll need to empty the "Trash" folder.
