Incognito mail

Incognito Mail!

Incognito Mail is a feature in Google Chrome that allows you to browse the internet privately and anonymously. When you enable Incognito Mode, your browsing history, search history, and cookies are not stored on your device. This means that:

  1. No browsing history: Your browsing history is not saved, so you won't have to worry about someone else accessing your browsing history.
  2. No search history: Your search queries are not stored, so you can search for sensitive information without worrying about it being saved.
  3. No cookies: Cookies, which are small text files that websites use to track your activity, are not stored. This means that websites won't be able to track your activity or collect data about you.
  4. No saved passwords: Passwords are not saved, so you'll need to enter them each time you visit a website.

To enable Incognito Mode in Google Chrome:

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click on the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the browser window.
  3. Select "New Incognito Window" or press Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows/Linux) or Command + Shift + N (Mac).

A new window will open, and you'll see a message indicating that you're in Incognito Mode. You can also check the URL bar to see that it says "incognito" next to the website address.

Keep in mind that while Incognito Mode provides some level of privacy, it's not foolproof. Websites may still be able to track your activity using other methods, such as:

  1. IP address: Your IP address can still be tracked, which can reveal your location.
  2. Device fingerprinting: Websites can collect information about your device, such as its operating system, browser type, and screen resolution, to identify you.
  3. Supercookies: Some websites use supercookies, which are cookies that are stored on your device even when you clear your browser's cookies.

To maintain maximum privacy, consider using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) and a private browser like Tor.
