Incoming mail server for outlook express
The nostalgia!
Outlook Express is an old email client that was popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s. If you're still using it, you'll need to configure the incoming mail server settings to receive emails. Here are the typical settings:
Incoming Mail Server (POP3)
- Server name:
pop.[your_email_provider].com
(e.g.,pop.gmail.com
for Gmail) - Port: 110 (default)
- Username: Your full email address (e.g.,
[email protected]
) - Password: Your email account password
Note: If your email provider uses SSL/TLS encryption, you may need to enable it in Outlook Express. To do this, go to Tools > Accounts > Properties > Advanced, and check the box next to "Use a secure connection (SSL/TLS)".
Example settings for popular email providers:
- Gmail:
pop.gmail.com
(Port 110),imap.gmail.com
(Port 993) for IMAP - Yahoo:

Additional tips:
- Make sure to replace
[your_email_provider]

- If you're having trouble connecting, try checking your email provider's documentation for specific settings or troubleshooting steps.
