Mail Processing Clerk

Job Description:
- Sort and process mail and packages in a timely and efficient manner
- Operate automated processing equipment, such as automated package processing machines and automated sorting machines
- Manually sort and process mail and packages as needed
- Verify and correct addresses and other information on mail and packages
- Package and prepare mail and packages for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Meet productivity and quality standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift and carry mail and packages weighing up to 70 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and move around the facility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software and equipment
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
Salary: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
