Internode email forwarding
Internode is an Australian internet service provider, and email forwarding is a feature that allows you to forward emails from one email address to another. Here's how to set up email forwarding on Internode:
Method 1: Using the Internode Webmail Interface
- Log in to your Internode webmail account at webmail.internode.on.net.
- Click on the "Settings" icon (looks like a gear) in the top right corner of the page.
- Select "Forwarding" from the dropdown menu.
- Enter the email address you want to forward emails to in the "Forward to" field.
- Choose the forwarding option you prefer:
- "Forward all emails" will forward all emails from your Internode email address to the specified address.
- "Forward emails from specific addresses" allows you to specify specific email addresses or domains to forward.
- Click "Save" to save your changes.
Method 2: Using the Internode Control Panel
- Log in to your Internode Control Panel at control.internode.on.net.
- Click on "Email" from the top menu.
- Select "Email Forwarding" from the dropdown menu.
- Enter the email address you want to forward emails from in the "Email Address" field.
- Enter the email address you want to forward emails to in the "Forward to" field.
- Choose the forwarding option you prefer (same options as above).
- Click "Save" to save your changes.
Tips and Considerations
- Make sure you have sufficient storage space on your Internode email account to accommodate the forwarded emails.
- If you're forwarding emails to a non-Internode email address, be aware that the forwarded emails may not be delivered immediately, as they may be subject to spam filters or other delivery issues.
- If you're forwarding emails to a different email address within the same domain (e.g., from [email protected] to [email protected]), you may need to configure the forwarding rules accordingly to avoid infinite forwarding loops.
