InWind Mail is a legacy email service that was popular in the early 2000s. To access your InWind Mail account using POP3, you'll need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Enable POP3 access
- Log in to your InWind Mail account using your username and password.
- Click on the "Settings" or "Options" icon (usually represented by a gear or cog icon).
- Scroll down to the "Account" or "Email" settings section.
- Look for the "POP3" or "POP" setting and toggle it to "Enabled" or "On".
Step 2: Configure your email client
- Open your email client (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, or a mobile app).
- Set up a new email account or edit an existing one.
- Enter the following settings:
- Server: pop.inwindmail.com
- Port: 110 (or 995 if you want to use SSL/TLS encryption)
- Username: Your InWind Mail username (e.g., your email address)
- Password: Your InWind Mail password
- Save your changes and test your connection.
Step 3: Verify your connection
- Check your email client's settings to ensure that the connection is successful.
- You should be able to receive emails from your InWind Mail account using POP3.
Important notes:
