The never-ending battle against junk mail! Here are the steps to manage junk mail settings on your iOS device:

Mail App

  1. Open the Mail app on your iOS device.
  2. Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap on the mailbox you want to manage (e.g., "Junk").
  4. Tap on "Edit" in the top-right corner.
  5. Tap on "Junk Mail" to toggle it on or off.
  6. If you want to mark all messages in the Junk mailbox as read, tap on "Mark All as Read".

Junk Mail Filter

  1. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  2. Tap on "Junk Mail".
  3. Toggle "Junk Mail Filtering" on or off.
  4. Choose the level of filtering you want:
    • "High" will filter out most junk mail, but may also block some legitimate messages.
    • "Medium" will filter out most junk mail, but may allow some legitimate messages through.
    • "Low" will filter out only the most obvious junk mail, but may allow more legitimate messages through.
  5. You can also add specific email addresses or domains to the "Blocked" list or the "Allowed" list.

Reporting Junk Mail

  1. Open the Mail app and find a junk email message.
  2. Swipe left on the message to reveal the "More" option.
  3. Tap on "Mark as Junk".
  4. The message will be moved to the Junk mailbox and reported to Apple's junk mail filters.
