Ios mail read receipt

The elusive read receipt in iOS Mail!

Unfortunately, Apple's Mail app on iOS devices does not have a built-in feature to request or send read receipts. This means that when you send an email, you won't be able to track whether the recipient has read it or not.

However, there are a few workarounds you can try:

  1. Use a third-party email client: Some third-party email clients, such as Microsoft Outlook or Spark, offer read receipt features. You can try installing one of these apps and see if they offer this feature.
  2. Use a read receipt add-on: There are several add-ons available that can be installed on your iOS device to enable read receipts. For example, you can try "Read Receipt" or "Email Tracker" from the App Store.
  3. Use a web-based email service: If you have a web-based email account (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo Mail), you can use their web interface to send emails with read receipts. For example, in Gmail, you can enable "Read receipts" in your account settings.
  4. Use a custom email signature: You can add a custom email signature that includes a message asking the recipient to confirm receipt. For example, you could add a signature that says "Please confirm receipt by replying to this email."

Keep in mind that even with these workarounds, there are no guarantees that the recipient will actually read the email or respond to your request for a read receipt.
