To set up an email account on an iPad, follow these steps:
Method 1: Set up an email account using the Settings app
- Go to the Settings app on your iPad.
- Tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Tap on Add Account.

- Description: A name for your email account (e.g. "Personal Email").
- Username: Your email address (e.g. [yourname]@gmail.com).
- Incoming Mail Server: The server that receives your email (e.g. imap.gmail.com).
- Outgoing Mail Server: The server that sends your email (e.g. smtp.gmail.com).
- Port: The port number used for incoming and outgoing email (e.g. 993 for IMAP, 587 for SMTP).
Troubleshooting tips
- Make sure your email account is active and your password is correct.
