The convenience of Autofill!
On an iPhone, you can enable Autofill for email addresses to save time and effort when filling out forms. Here's how:
Method 1: Enable Autofill in Settings
- Go to Settings > [your name] > Passwords & Accounts.
- Tap "Autofill Passwords" and toggle the switch to the "On" position.
- Go back to Settings and tap "Safari" or "Settings" (depending on your iOS version).
- Scroll down and tap "Autofill" or "AutoFill".
- Toggle the switch next to "Email Addresses" to the "On" position.
Method 2: Enable Autofill in Safari
- Open Safari and go to a website that requires you to fill out a form.
- Tap the "Fill" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap "Email" and select the email address you want to use from the list.
- If you want to save the email address for future use, tap "Save" and then "Done".
Tips:
- Make sure you have a passcode or Face ID/Touch ID set up on your iPhone to secure your Autofill data.
- You can also enable Autofill for other types of information, such as credit card numbers and passwords, in the Settings app.
- If you're using a third-party keyboard, you may need to enable Autofill within that keyboard's settings as well.
