Iphone mail add attachment
To add an attachment to an email on your iPhone, follow these steps:
- Open the Mail app on your iPhone.
- Tap the "Compose" button to start a new email.
- Enter the recipient's email address and a subject line.
- Tap the "Message" field to start typing your email.
- Tap the "Attach" button, which looks like a paperclip.
- Select the type of file you want to attach from the options:
- "Photos" to attach a photo or video from your Camera Roll.
- "Files" to attach a file from your iPhone's file system.
- "Take Photo or Video" to take a new photo or video to attach.
- Choose the file you want to attach from the list of options.
- Tap "Attach" to add the file to your email.
- You can add multiple attachments by repeating steps 5-8.
- Tap "Send" to send the email with the attachments.
Alternatively, you can also add attachments from other apps on your iPhone. To do this:
- Open the app that contains the file you want to attach (e.g. Notes, Pages, etc.).
- Select the file you want to attach.
- Tap the "Share" button.
- Tap "Mail" to send the file as an attachment.
- Enter the recipient's email address and a subject line.
- Tap "Send" to send the email with the attachment.
Note: The maximum file size for attachments on iPhone is 20MB. If you need to send larger files, you may need to use a cloud storage service like iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox to share the file.
