Iphone mail junk mail settings
To manage junk mail settings on your iPhone, follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the Mail app
- Open the Mail app on your iPhone.
- Tap on the "Mail" button in the top left corner to go back to the inbox.
- Tap on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear) in the top right corner.
- Scroll down and tap on "Junk Mail".
- Toggle the switch next to "Junk Mail Filtering" to the "On" position.
- You can also adjust the level of junk mail filtering by tapping on "Filtering Level" and selecting from the following options:
- "Low": Fewer messages are marked as junk.
- "Medium" (default): A balance between accuracy and false positives.
- "High": More messages are marked as junk.
- To add specific senders or domains to the "Safe Senders" list, tap on "Safe Senders" and enter the email address or domain.
- To add specific senders or domains to the "Blocked Senders" list, tap on "Blocked Senders" and enter the email address or domain.
Method 2: Using the Settings app
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap on "Mail".
- Tap on "Junk Mail".
- Toggle the switch next to "Junk Mail Filtering" to the "On" position.
- Adjust the filtering level by tapping on "Filtering Level" and selecting from the same options as above.
- To add specific senders or domains to the "Safe Senders" list, tap on "Safe Senders" and enter the email address or domain.
- To add specific senders or domains to the "Blocked Senders" list, tap on "Blocked Senders" and enter the email address or domain.
Additional tips:
- You can also report junk mail by tapping on the "Report Junk" button in the top right corner of a junk mail message.
- If you're still receiving junk mail after adjusting these settings, you can try using a third-party junk mail filtering app or service.
- Keep in mind that no junk mail filtering system is 100% accurate, so you may still receive some false positives or false negatives.
