Ipower email outlook setup
To set up iPower email in Outlook, follow these steps:
Step 1: Create an iPower email account
If you haven't already, create an iPower email account by going to the iPower website and following the sign-up process.
Step 2: Set up Outlook
Open Outlook and click on the "File" menu, then select "Add Account".
Step 3: Choose the account type
Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
Step 4: Choose the account type again
Select "POP or IMAP" and click "Next".
Step 5: Enter your email account settings
Enter the following information:
- Your name: Enter your name as you want it to appear in the "From" field of your emails.
- Email address: Enter your iPower email address.
- Account type: Select "POP3" or "IMAP" depending on your preference.
- Incoming mail server: Enter "mail.ipower.com" (without quotes).
- Outgoing mail server: Enter "mail.ipower.com" (without quotes).
- User Name: Enter your iPower email address.
- Password: Enter your iPower email password.
Step 6: Set up the outgoing server
Select the "More Settings" button and click on the "Outgoing Server" tab.
- My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication: Select this checkbox.
- Use same settings as my incoming mail server: Select this checkbox.
Step 7: Set up the advanced settings
Click on the "Advanced" tab.
- Incoming server (POP3): Enter "995" (without quotes) for the port number.
- Outgoing server (SMTP): Enter "587" (without quotes) for the port number.
Step 8: Finish the setup
Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the setup process.
Step 9: Test your email account
To test your email account, send an email to yourself or to another email address. If everything is set up correctly, you should receive the email without any issues.
That's it! You should now be able to access your iPower email account in Outlook.
