Is parcelforce on strike with royal mail

As of my knowledge cutoff, ParcelForce, which is a subsidiary of Royal Mail, is not on strike with Royal Mail. However, Royal Mail has been experiencing industrial action from its postal workers, including strikes, over issues such as pay, jobs, and working conditions.

The Communication Workers Union (CWU), which represents Royal Mail workers, has been in dispute with the company over several issues, including:

  1. Pay: The CWU is seeking a 10% pay rise for its members, while Royal Mail has offered a 2% increase.
  2. Jobs: The union is concerned about job losses and the impact of automation on the workforce.
  3. Working conditions: The CWU is seeking improvements to working conditions, including reduced workload and better health and safety measures.

The strikes have been ongoing since June 2022 and have caused disruptions to Royal Mail's services, including delays and cancellations. However, ParcelForce, which is a separate entity from Royal Mail, has not been directly affected by the strikes.

It's worth noting that ParcelForce is a private company that operates independently of Royal Mail, although it does use Royal Mail's infrastructure and services for some of its operations. As a result, ParcelForce has not been involved in the industrial action and has continued to operate normally.

If you have any specific concerns about your parcel delivery or any other issues related to ParcelForce or Royal Mail, I recommend contacting them directly for the most up-to-date information.
